Ratification Process

Everyone covered by the "Orange" AT&T Mobility Agreement has the right to vote "yes" or "no" on the tentative agreement reached by CWA and the Company.

Ballots will be mailed to members on March 16, 2009.

IMPORTANT: If you do not receive a ballot by March 23, contact your local and a duplicate ballot will be sent. The deadline for requesting a duplicate ballot is March 25, 2009.

On April 2, 2009, the ballots will be counted and observers will be present. 

If 50% +1 of countable ballots are marked "yes," the tentative agreement is ratified and goes into effect immediately. Wage increases and other contract terms would be retroactive to contract expiration (12:01 a.m., Feb. 7, 2009).

If 50% +1 of countable ballots are marked "no," the tentative agreement is not ratified and the Union will explore options, including returning to the bargaining table.
