Vote your AT&T proxy

| March 11, 2009 |

AT&T issued its annual proxy on March 11, 2009.  If you are an AT&T shareholder, your proxy should be arriving by postal mail or e-mail shortly. Note that if you vote by phone or online, CWA cannot deliver your proxy.

To have the union deliver your proxy to AT&T:

If you received only a "notice of annual meeting" without a ballot and return envelope, or haven't received anything:

  1. You must request a paper ballot. Requests must be received by April 14th. (But the sooner the better.)
  2. Request your ballot:

By phone:

Call 1-866-641-4276
At the end of the call, the automated system will ask if you would like to have future materials sent electronically - say NO so that you'll get a paper ballot next year.

By e-mail:

Send an email message to investorvote@cxomputershare.com
Subject line: "Proxy Materials Order"
Body of the message, your full name and address and the three numbers in the shaded bar

When you receive your paper ballot in the mail, follow the steps below.

If you received a paper proxy:

  1. Vote your proxy ballot by placing an "X" in the For, Against, or Abstain box for each proposal. CWA recommends voting FOR proposals 4-9.
  2. Sign and date the card where indicated.
  3. Give the proxy card and return envelope to your local.

CWA will be collecting and delivering voted proxies to the company. CWA is not asking for discretionary authority to vote proxies on behalf of its members. Please make sure you vote and sign your proxy.
