2012 Civil Rights and Equity Conference

July 13, 2012 2:00 pm to July 15, 2012 10:00 pm

The Civil Rights & Equity Committee will host their 2012 conference in Houston, Texas July 13-15, 2012.

2012 will be another challenging year with the President, all of Congress and one-third of the Senators up for election.  We are all aware of the attacks from the right that threaten one of the deepest values of America, Democracy.  Many states have adopted new voting guidelines and laws that will make it harder for people from many walks of life to vote.  We cannot and will not allow this to happen.

This year’s Conference will focus on training and tools needed to empower our members in the work we do at home and with our national partners and allies.  The principles outlined by the three sides of the CWA Triangle will continue to guide our work.

The Civil Rights and Equity Committee is working hard to host a conference that will be motivating, inspiring and educational.  We want to see YOU in Houston in July.

Online Registration is now closed. You can only register on-site at the Conference.
