1. Committee Chair Barbara Easterling reported that the Exececutive Board was complimentary and appreciative of the committees work to date. Board members were generally receptive to the ideas and direction of the committee. There were some areas which the Executive Board asked the committee to discuss and consider further.
   
   
2. Committee Chair Barbara Easterling also reported that the Executive Board understood and accepted the committee's referral of the regional and identity board seats issue to the Executive Board.  President Cohen appointed a Board committee to research and present a recommendation on this question.  The members on the committee are District 1 Vice President Chris Shelton, District 3 Vice President Noah Savant, District 7 Vice President Annie Hill, Pubic, Healthcare and Education Workers Vice President Brooks Sunkett and Barbara Easterling Secretary Treasurer and Chair.
   
   
3. The committee discussed the need for a conference call with the members of the National Committee on Equity and National Women's Committee to update them. Barbara Easterling directed Gwend Johnson, Director Human Rights to set up a conference call on Wednesday December 20 with the members from both committees and the District Civil Rights and Women's Coordinators.

The next meeting is January 18-19 in Washington D.C.
