Death On The Job: AFL-CIO 2008 Report

Just released, the 17th edition of the AFL-CIO national and state-by-state profiles on worker safety and health in the United States reveals that in 2006, 5,840 workers died from workplace injuries, compared with 5,734 in 2005.
