The CWA/NETT Academy Scholarship Program has awarded 70 scholarships for members to take online training courses.

CWA/NETT received 200 applications from every part of the union for the scholarship, which is valued at $1,200. Interested members were required to submit an application including a short essay answering this question: "Tell us about your current work and career goals and what you hope to gain by taking a CWA/NETT course."

Winners will be sent letters this week.

During 2013, CWA will award $50,000 in training scholarships to its members.
