District 1 Organizing Coordinator Erin Bowie reports: On August 8 the AAA certified that a majority of the 92 workers in the Cingular Wireless  Paramus, NJ IWC, IPC Unit have signed up to have CWA be their union.  This is a specialty unit that assists Cingular customers traveling abroad.  Talnisha Smith, CWA Local 1101 Chief Steward in the Cingular Paramus customer service center was the lead organizer assisted by Erin Bowie and Local 1101 Secretary Jim Trainor.
