A majority of former AT&T Wireless employees making up Cingular's retail sales unit in Utah choose CWA representation on Oct. 18. The effort was led by sales associates who served on inside committees during the statewide campaign. Assisting the workers were CWA Local 7704 Organizer Gerald Haskell, Local 7704 officers Kent Anderson, Susie McAllister, and Annette Cunningham, and Curt Royster from Local 7705.

More than 8,100 of the 21,800 AT&T Wireless employees who came into Cingular following the merger have organized with CWA. In all, more than 30,000 employees at Cingular Wireless have CWA representation.
