Bargaining begins for Puerto Rico & Virgin Islands

¡Si se puede!

Yes we can!

That’s the rallying cry of AT&T Mobility workers at CWA Local 3010 in Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. In a few days, these union brothers and sisters will begin bargaining their new contract — and fighting for their rights.

Now, it’s up to those of us who are part of the Unity@Mobility campaign to stand up and support Local 3010 loudly, proudly, and enthusiastically. Every single one of us can raise our voices and help make sure AT&T understands that we have our coworkers’’ backs.

That’s because when it comes to bargaining, every contract matters. This contract is one of the four regional agreements that CWA members work under — and that makes it one of only four opportunities we have to secure rights we can then push for in the rest of our contracts.

Bargaining begins Feb. 9 and ends Feb. 22, so there’s not a lot of time for us to mobilize. And the more we mobilize, the more we’ll win.

Will you step up and show your solidarity for our brothers and sisters in Puerto Rico? Snap a picture of yourself, or of you and your co-workers, holding up a sign that says “¡Si Se Puede!”

Then email it to unityactivist@cwa-union.org — and we’ll share some of your photos on U@M’s Facebook page!
