In addition, the Company passed a wage proposal that did not recognize the Customer Assistants for their contributions to AT&T.  The Company also proposed the elimination of the current Team Award.

The parties are close to agreement on the grievance and arbitration language, as a result of the work in the joint subcommittee.

The Union’s Bargaining Chair expressed our displeasure and disbelief in the Company’s efforts in these negotiations.  Clearly, AT&T does not appreciate the value of the Internet Services employees.

Our committee will meet through the weekend.
