Members of the Communications Workers of America at Ameritech Corp. have ratified a new 32-month agreement that provides wage increases of 11.19 percent, plus a $500 cash bonus. The contract was ratified with an 80 percent favorable vote.The new contract improves pensions and employment security, and includes provisions for cardcheck recognition of the union at Ameritech wireless operations.
