"Lucent Performance Award"

To All Alcatel-Lucent Locals

We have received a number of questions from members about why they have not received the 2007 "Lucent Performance Award" payout this December.

In 2007 Alcatel-Lucent changed its fiscal year from one that ended in October to coincide with the calendar year, Because of that change, the Unions (CWA and IBEW) agreed to a one-time transition payout of $307.00 to cover the three months from October to December 2006. This award was added to the payout made December 2006.

Since this fiscal year does not end until December 31, the "Award" for 2007 fiscal year performance will be paid out in April 2008.
