Members of Congress Call on Deutsche Telekom CEO to Ensure Full Rights for T Mobile USA Workers
May 3, 2010
Thanks to the efforts of CWAers across our union, 26 members of the U.S. House of Representatives' Education and Labor Committee signed a letter to Rene Obermann, chief executive officer of Deutsche Telekom, the parent company of T Mobile. They cited the "troubling reports" regarding T Mobile USA and its interference in the rights of U.S. workers to join a union and bargain fairly and urged Obermann to take steps to ensure that the freedoms of association and rights of American workers are fully protected and respected.
