Congressional Progressive Caucus Co-Chairs Reps. Raúl M. Grijalva (D-AZ) and Keith Ellison (D-MN) released the following statement after the House of Representatives passed H.R. 1120, a bill to shut down the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) and stop workers from organizing for higher wages:
“In the last five years, working families have seen their homes foreclosed on, retirement accounts evaporate and wages disappear. Now Republicans want to shut down the National Labor Relations Board and tip the scales further towards wealthy corporations.
