USA Today: Fatal Chemical Accidents Expose Weak Federal Laws

Highlighting the tragic story involving the on-the-job death of Ray Gonzalez, father-in-law of Randy Rodriguez (a Local 6222 steward and safety and health chair as well as one of our CWA safety and health grant trainers) and, Randy's wife and daughter of Ray Gonzalez, Catherine Rodriguez, the below USA Today article emphasizes the need for a comprehensive chemical safety and security law. 

As we do our work, our hearts go out to both Catherine, Randy, their wonderful daughters, and other family members. The described working conditions and loss of life are what we fight to prevent.
