Workers in NJ and IN join CWA

District 1 reports that Local 1040 won certification through card check on April 16 to represent 19 blue collar workers in Berlin Township, New Jersey.  This card check victory came after unsuccessful challenges by the Employer. Organizers Constance English and Christopher Young worked on this campaign.

District 4 has won two new groups in Indiana through NLRB elections.  Hancock Rural Unit 3, Central Indiana Telecom Unit 6.
