Dear Representative  __________________,

Please protect American and Colombian workers and vote No on the Colombia Trade Deal. Workers in Colombia have no protections. They don’t get healthcare from their employers. Colombian Workers are regularly killed when trying to start a union. When American workers compete with under-paid workers in other countries, we lose jobs, and they lose rights.

<Insert two sentences on why you oppose the Colombia Trade Deal. You can talk about why unions in the U.S. and elsewhere are important. You can say that this deal will hurt the Economic Recovery and the already struggling middle class. You can talk about why people should have the right to form a union and collectively bargain. Why everyone – Colombian or American, deserves a voice in their workplace. Unions in this country created the weekend and other fair labor protections for workers – no one can look out for the Colombians. Etc.>

Please keep our jobs here in America, and protect the dignity and rights of workers in Colombia. Do not allow corporations to ship our jobs overseas and continue to take advantage of workers in other countries. Vote No on the Colombia Trade Deal.

Sincerely,
