AT&T LEGACY T BARGAINING REPORT #65

The Bargaining Team did not meet with the Company today. We instructed the CWA Legal Department to file an Unfair Labor Practice (ULP) charge with the NLRB against AT&T. We do not have a tentative agreement with AT&T so for them to request a vote from the Membership is absurd. The Bargaining Team has remained ready to negotiate with the Company as we wait for the Company to provide the economic data that will affect our Members’ future.

We held a President’s conference call to explain what happened yesterday while we were at the bargaining table trying to understand the proposal the Company passed. They could not explain to us the economic components so we could even understand or fully consider their proposal. We requested several Request for Data (RFI’s), which they have been reluctant to provide to us in a timely manner, so that we could better understand their proposal and formulate Union counter proposals.

Tell the Company to FORGET THEIR FINAL OFFER and TALK TO US AT THE BARGAINNG TABLE!

Now is the time to unite and stand strong!

Your Bargaining Committee
