UNI Global Union Leaders Meet

CWA President Chris Shelton met with union leaders this week at the UNI Global Union World Executive Board. Shelton and leaders from Britain's Communication Workers Union discussed organizing efforts at a British Telecom subsidiary. Shelton also met with bank worker union leaders and UNI Finance staff on ways to move forward on bank worker organizing. The World Executive Board asked Shelton to discuss the recent U.S. elections and their potential effects on union workers.
