AT&T Legacy T Bargaining Report #37

The Bargaining Team met with the Company this morning. The Company passed proposals on DTV which for the most part were rejections of our previous proposals. The Bargaining Team feels that there were no gains for our DTV members in their proposals. This is an insult to our Brothers and Sisters and we are committed to bargain for fair and just treatment for our members in the DTV Memorandum Of Agreement. TURN IT UP DTV! We need your participation and support.

The Company also passed a proposal on Electronic Monitoring which the Union rejected.

This afternoon the Company passed another Healthcare proposal. Although the Company demonstrated some movement regarding the structure of the Healthcare Plan, there is still a significant increase in the cost to our members in premiums, deductibles, and out of pocket maximums. Their plan also calls for the prescription plan to be integrated with the medical. Additionally, they are standing on their previous proposal to freeze pensions on traditional and cash balance plans and moving those affected employees to the BCB2 plan.

The Union will not accept either of these proposals. We have passed reasonable proposals on Healthcare and our pension proposal is a percentage increase on the Traditional, Cash Balance Plan, and BCB2 Program (with an additional bump up to improve the cash balance dollar amounts).

We will be back at the table tomorrow!
